At Revilo Gives, Inc., we believe that every child deserves a confident start and every family deserves support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we are committed to strengthening our communities through back-to-school drives, educational support, teen advocacy, and scholarship programs. From backpacks to books, free haircuts to hygiene kits—our goal is to remove barriers and create access to the tools that help students thrive in and beyond the classroom. Together, we can build brighter futures, one family at a time.
Community Service: Giving Back
At the heart of Revilo Gives is our annual Back-to-School Drive, a major community service event designed to meet practical needs while uplifting spirits. We distribute backpacks filled with supplies, offer free haircuts, hygiene kits, and clothing, and create a festive, judgment-free atmosphere that restores dignity to families.
Teen Advocacy
Navigating adolescence can be challenging, especially for teens growing up in environments where resources are limited. Revilo Gives offers Teen Advocacy programs that provide mentorship, self-esteem workshops, career exploration, and open discussions around real-life issues such as peer pressure, identity, and mental wellness.
Literacy Tools
Revilo Gives, Inc. recognizes that literacy is the foundation of a child’s education and long-term success. Many students in underserved communities do not have consistent access to age-appropriate books or family support in developing strong reading skills.
Educational Support Tools
Education doesn't begin and end in the classroom. It starts at home and continues through community support. Revilo Gives supplements the traditional education system by offering essential support services to students and families who may be falling through the cracks.
Beauty and Wellness: Bridging The Gap
It is widely accepted that beauty can significantly boost confidence. In an effort to maintain a youthful and attractive appearance, we often invest significant time and resources into our appearance. However, it is important to recognize that beauty and wellness are closely interconnected. Our outer appearance is often a reflection of our overall health and well-being. By prioritizing healthy lifestyle choices, we can not only enhance our appearance but improve our physical and emotional well-being.
Scholarship Program
Revilo Gives, Inc. proudly supports the next generation of beauty professionals through our Beauty Experts Curating Cosmetology and Aesthetics (BECCA) Scholarship Program, which offers $500 awards to cosmetology students enrolled in accredited colleges or beauty schools. These scholarships help cover essential costs like tuition, books, tools, or licensing fees; lightening the financial load so students can stay focused on their education and career goals.
Led by founder and educator Contressa Oliver, this program is about more than money. It’s about mentorship, opportunity, and community. By investing in aspiring stylists and barbers, we’re helping students build lasting careers in the beauty industry while empowering them to give back to their own communities. This scholarship is a stepping stone toward success, confidence, and long-term impact.
