Revilo Gives, Inc. Code of Conduct

Purpose:
Our mission calls for the highest standards of integrity, respect, and compassion. This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and behaviors expected of all Revilo Gives supporters, whether volunteers, staff, board members, partners, or participants—to ensure a safe, welcoming, and uplifting environment.

1. Respect & Inclusion

  • Treat everyone with dignity in words, actions, and attitudes.

  • Embrace and honor diversity regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or socioeconomic background.

  • Honor different perspectives and promote equity in all interactions.

2. Professionalism & Integrity

  • Conduct yourself with credibility, transparency, and responsibility.

  • Represent Revilo Gives positively in all personal and public interactions.

  • Maintain strict honesty in communications, record-keeping, and financial matters.

3. Confidentiality & Privacy

  • Safeguard sensitive information about program participants, donors, and volunteers.

  • Do not share photos or stories without explicit consent.

  • Respect boundaries in discussions, especially in public or online forums.

4. Safety & Well-Being

  • Commit to creating a physically and emotionally safe environment.

  • Report any signs of misconduct, harm, or unsafe conditions to leadership immediately.

  • Abide by safety protocols during all events and activities.

5. Conflict Resolution

  • Address conflicts calmly and directly, seeking mutually respectful solutions.

  • Refrain from gossip or creating division.

  • If issues persist, escalate concerns to program leadership or HR as appropriate.

6. Accountability

  • Maintain punctuality and reliability.

  • Own up to mistakes and work toward solutions.

  • Accept feedback and strive for growth continuously.

7. Social Media & Public Representation

  • Speak positively about Revilo Gives when posting about events or content.

  • Always use approved hashtags, tags, and messaging.

  • Avoid sharing private photos or personal details without permission.

8. Anti-Harassment & Bullying

  • Do not tolerate harassment, intimidation, or bullying, verbal, physical, emotional, or online.

  • Ensure all interactions are supportive and respectful.

  • Report any forms of harassment immediately to ensure timely intervention.

9. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Commitment

  • Learn and act with inclusion and respect.

  • Honor identities and lived experiences.

  • Acknowledge and seek to reverse bias, prejudice, and exclusion.

10. Leadership Support

  • Leaders and staff are available to handle:

    • Safety or conduct concerns

    • Requests for guidance

    • Reporting violations of this Code

Violation of Code

Breaches of this Code may lead to:

  • Removal from events or Revilo Gives activities

  • Discontinuation of volunteer or board participation

  • Temporary or permanent suspension, depending on severity
    All suspected violations will be reviewed promptly and confidentially.
